Facial Harmonisation

As we age, the fat pads and bone that support the face lose volume at different rates. The cheeks flatten, the temples hollow, the jawline softens and the skin above begins to fold, most visibly beside the nose and mouth. Treating one fold in isolation often disappoints because the cause sits elsewhere. Facial harmonisation is the practice of mapping those changes across the whole face and restoring support in the order that makes sense, so the features sit in proportion again and the result reads as rested.

The areas Helena most often combines are the cheeks, chin, jawline and temples for structure, and the lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines for the lower face. Tear troughs may be added where under-eye hollowing is part of the picture. Each filler area takes around an hour and is priced from £300. Not every face needs every area; a typical plan includes a small number of them, chosen for the balance they bring to the whole.

Everything begins with a consultation of up to an hour: your concerns, a thorough medical history, and a plan that sets out which areas belong in it and in what order. Helena usually places structural areas such as the cheeks, temples or chin first and lets them settle for two weeks before assessing the lips and lower face, because restoring support higher up often softens what sits below. Where anti-wrinkle injections form part of the plan, they involve a prescription-only medicine, provided only after a face-to-face consultation and prescription in line with NMC and MHRA requirements, with a review at two weeks.
